So, finally its home!.Brought this little one home today and seems its gonna take a while for him to explore his new home
4" in size. Never kept a Xback before, this is my 1st shot at it (been keeping rtg, high back before and currently housing a VFSR in another tank). As i mentioned in previous thread, it aint possible for me to change the background of the tank so yeh Ill be keeping this one in a tank which has 3 sides black with white base. Hope whatever she becomes in the future will be a delight to watch.
Have no idea whether there r any Pearlies or not as tis is the first time me keeping an xback, the importer brought 3 pcs, picked up tis 1, so will be looking forward to all ur comments on how to bring up this little one to its full potential.
Tank is a bit smaller (5x2x2) compared to the 1 in which the VFSR is kept (5x2.5x2).

Congrats on ur first x back purchase. Lovely young fish u have there. At current size of fish, tank size now wont be an issue. Maybe a yr or so then need to evaluate. But enjoy ur xback and wish u all the best!

For pearlies cant really see from video. Since u place it in black tank,
Give it a month or 2 and u can easily see whether theres pearlies or not. Some xbs will develop pearlies at a later stage.
